    In 2016, 50 years have passed since the establishment of the Institute for Non-Ferrous and Rare Metals - IMNR. According to HG 2115 /2004, IMNR became a National Research and Development Institute. IMNR aims to become a regional, national and European competitiveness center in the field of science and engineering of materials based on non-ferrous and rare metals: metals, alloys, composites and hybrids

   Currently, IMNR is the coordinator of the SUPERMAT virtual center and member of the MHTC and ROHEALTH clusters and of the European technology initiatives NANOFUTURES, NANOMEDICINE, RAW MATERIALS.

    Between 10 and 12 October 2017, IMNR is co-organizing (together with POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest) a workshop in the frame of the COST action CA 16122 "Biomaterials and Advanced Physical Techniques for Regenerative Cardiology and Neurology - BIONECA".   Details...
