3rd Edition International Conference EmergeMAT

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN MATERIALS ENGINEERING

EmergeMAT 1st Edition,   November 14th – 16th 2018, Bucharest, ROMANIAc
EmergeMAT 2nd Edition,   November 6th – 8th 2019, Bucharest, ROMANIA

IMNR organized online the 3rd International Conference EmergeMAT, took place in Bucharest, Romania, between October 29th-30th, 2020, and focused on bringing scientists, engineers, industry representatives and other stakeholders interested in developing new methods, concepts and materials using new and emerging technologies, such as: additive manufacturing, advanced materials for extreme conditions, high pressure and high temperature processes, critical materials and valorization of new resources.
At this edition of the conference attended by 130 participants, representing 54 organizations from 18 countries and over 100 scientific papers were submitted to the conference proceedings.

Key Topics: materials for additive manufacturing, medical applications, energy applications, automotive & aerospace applications, dual applications, safe and sustainable-by-design metallic materials and coatings, materials (metals, alloys, ceramics, hybrids, composites), critical materials (metals, CRM replacements), thermal properties, etc.

The conference was organized as a virtual event. The working language was English. Participation was free change.

Abstracts were published in the conference Book of Abstracts (ISSN 2602-0416) and full papers were able to be published in Emerging Technologies for Development of Novel Materials Systems and Coatings, Special Issue of Materials (ISSN 1996-1944), Impact Factor: 2,972 (2018) and Manufacturing Review (eISSN: 2265-4224) following a peer review process. Manufacturing Review is indexed in several databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, etc.
