2nd Edition International Conference EmergeMAT

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN MATERIALS ENGINEERING

EmergeMAT 1st Edition,   November 14th – 16th 2018, Bucharest, ROMANIA

November 6th– 8th, 2019, CARO Hotel, Bucharest, Romania

EmergeMAT 2nd Conference aims to bring together scientists, engineers, industry representatives and other stakeholders interested in developing new methods, concepts and materials using new and emerging technologies, such as: additive manufacturing, advanced materials for extreme conditions, high pressure and high temperature processes, critical materials and valorization of new resources.

At this edition of the conference attended by 157 participants, representing 52 organizations from 17 countries and 74 scientific papers were submitted to the conference proceedings.

Key Topics: materials for additive manufacturing, (bio)medical applications, energy applications, automotive & aerospace applications, advanced materials (metals, alloys, ceramics, hybrids, composites), critical materials (metals, CRM replacements), thermal properties, etc..

The program included: plenary conference, oral presentations, poster session, workgroup meetings.

Abstracts were published in the conference Book of Abstracts (ISSN 2602-0416) and full papers were able to be published following a peer review process in Manufacturing Review (eISSN: 2265-4224). Manufacturing Review is indexed in several databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, etc.
