EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN MATERIALS ENGINEERING

November 14^th-16^th 2018, Hotel CARO, Bucharest, Romania

The first EmergeMAT Conference aimed to bring together scientists, engineers, industry representatives and other actors interested in the development of new methods, concepts and materials using new and emerging technologies such as: additive manufacturing, high pressure and temperature processes raised and the exploitation of new resources.

At this edition of the conference attended by 130 participants, representing 47 organizations from 8 countries and 50 scientific papers were submitted to the conference proceedings.

The scientific program included: plenary conference, oral presentations, poster session, round table.

Abstracts were published in the conference Book of Abstracts (ISSN 2602-0416) and full papers were able to be published in Journal of Optoelectronics and Advanced Materials (Print: ISSN 1454 – 4164; Online: ISSN 1841 – 7132),  and Manufacturing Review (eISSN: 2265-4224) following a peer review process. Manufacturing Review is indexed in several databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, etc.
