The National Research&Development Institute for Non-Ferrous and Rare Metals - IMNR (hereinafter referred to as "IMNR" or "us") is a national research - development institute, with headquarters in Romania, 102 B-d. Biruinței, Pantelimon, ILFOV county, 077145, having the order number in the Trade Register J40/12278/1994. We collect and process different categories of personal data from you as a user of the website https://www.imnr.ro/ (hereinafter referred to as the "website" or "internet page"), which, in accordance with the legislation of the European Union on the protection of personal data, gives us the status of data operator for such data. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. This information notice on the Processing of Personal Data describes our practices regarding the collection and use by us of your personal data as a result of the interaction with our website. While you visit our website, www.imnr.ro, the server automatically records and processes the following data concerning you, as follows:2.1 While you are browsing our website
The website automatically collects certain information and stores it in log files. We use this information to be able to design our website and application in such a way that it better adapts to the needs of our users. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer our website, analyze trends, track visitor movements, and gather general demographic information to help us assists in identifying visitor preferences. The basis of the processing is our legitimate interest to monitor the activity on the site and ensure the security of the site. The data is kept for one year from the date of the visit. When you fill in the contact form or the registration form for an event organized by IMNR on our website, we will process the email address, which will enter our database regarding future information of possible interest to you. The legal basis for processing is your consent. We ensure that you have a simple option to unsubscribe at any time, either in the communication itself or by contacting us as indicated in Section 5. When you unsubscribe, the newsletter communication ceases. The email address will be shared with the provider of the email newsletter sending solution. If you request multiple copies of your personal data, we may charge you a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.c) The Right to rectification:
You have the right to obtain from us the rectification of your personal data. If you wish, for this purpose, you can contact us in the manner provided in Section 5 below.d) The right to Restrict:
If you wish, you can obtain from us the restriction of the processing of your personal data, in the situations where: • you dispute the correctness of your personal data, for the period we need to verify the correctness, • the processing is illegal, but you object to the deletion of personal data, requesting in change the restriction of their use, • we no longer need your personal data but you request it to establish, exercise or defend a right in court, or • you object to the processing, for the time period in which we check whether our legitimate interests prevail over yours .e) The Right to Portability:
You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us and, where technically feasible, to request that we transfer your personal data (that you have provided to us) to another organization . You have the right to request that we delete the personal data we process about you. We must comply with this request if we process your personal data, and if the personal data is no longer necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless the data is necessary: • for exercising the right to free expression and information; • to comply with a legal obligation we have; • for archiving purposes in the public, scientific or historical interest or for statistical purposes; or • for establishing, exercising or defending a right in court.g) The Right to object:
Where the processing is not based on your consent but on our legitimate interests or those of a third party, you can object at any time to the processing of your personal data for reasons related to your particular situation. In this case we will no longer process your personal data, unless (I) we can prove legitimate and compelling reasons which justify the processing and which prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms or (II) or if the purpose is to ascertain , exercising or defending a right in court. If you object to the processing, please specify whether you also want your personal data to be deleted, otherwise we will only restrict it. You can always object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes based on our legitimate interest, whatever your reason. If the marketing was based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent. Please note:: • Time period: We will try to fulfill your request within one month, which period may be extended due to specific reasons related to the right invoked or the complexity of your request. In any case, if this period is extended, we will inform you about the extension period and the reasons that led to this extension. • Access restriction: In certain situations, we may not be able to grant you access to all or part of your personal data due to legal restrictions. If we refuse your access request, we will tell you the reason for this refusal. • Impossibility of identification: In certain cases, we may not be able to identify your personal data because of the identifiers you provide us in the application.
